Resources

The resources pages are divided into the following sections, which provide lists of all SACSC resources, some of which are available to download in PDF form.

Supporting a Safe and Caring School
This page currently lists 33 resources, including the resource booklets that fall under the Supporting a Safe and Caring School program area, and how to purchase copies if the resource is not available to download. (This includes the booklets on bullying, the respecting diversity series, etc)
SACSC School Culture Building Resources
These resources help in SACSC implementation at the school level.
SACSC Information Booklets
These resoruces help teachers build a safe and caring classroom and include topics such as deailing with bullying, media violence and the SACSC Respecting Diversity series.
SACSC Student Survey Instrument
The SACSC student survey instrument provides a voice for the student body and allows schools to obtain student feedback regarding the needs and strengths of the school. The Student Survey has a corresponding Guidebook and Instructions to help teachers administer the survey and to help school administration use the valuable data that they collect.
SACSC Assembly Scripts
These scripts have been developed for principals to introduce each of the safe and caring topics at a school assembly.
Tips for Schools – Principals’ Best
This is a collection of Alberta principals' Best Strategies for building and enhancing their safe and caring schools.
