Cyberbullying
Program Description
Cyberbullying is covert, psychological bullying conveyed through electronic mediums. E-mail, text messages, chat rooms, online discussion boards and social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace can all be used by cyberbullies.
As cyberbullying becomes more common, parents, educators, and others who work with youth are increasingly finding the need for practical strategies and resources to address the problem. With this in mind, SACSC has developed a workshop designed to help participants prevent and respond to cyberbullying. The SACSC Focus on Cyberbullying workshop uses numerous activities and video clips to highlight how cyberbullying happens and how it can be prevented.
Help ensure character education doesn't fall behind advances in technology! Contact SACSC to learn how you can help stop cyberbullying.
This program was made possible through generous funding from TELUS.
